Blaupunkt Pasadena CD71 manual
One of the Skyline series, circa 1999. Key-card security. This is an extraordinary sounding CD head unit, and it is a beauty. I bought one just like it back in the day for $400, to replace a disappointing Nakamichi CD-45z. I hated that Nakamichi with a passion. I paid $450 for that piece of garbage which wouldn’t even eject a CD–you had to pull it out with force. Then to top it off you could see the inner mechanism of the thing through the poorly-molded face of the piece of crap. But I kept telling myself, “It’s a Nakamichi, you’re so lucky to have one.” I ended up smashing it with a big rock and setting it on fire. Anyway, I replaced it with the Blaupunkt and sanity returned. The Blaupunkt Pasadena CD71 restored me to pre-Nakamichi happiness levels. Do not get me started on Nakamichi again.
